River Rock Campfire Old Fashioned

With a sweeter taste profile, River Rock is perfect for enjoying neat with a large chunk of ice.

But every once in a while, we want to mix it up a little and what better way than by combining some of our favourite things - campfires & toasted marshmallows!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 50ml River Rock Single Malt
  • 5ml Toasted Marshmallow Syrup* 
  • 3 dashes Angostura Aromatic Bitters

*For the TOASTED MARSHMALLOW SYRUP:

  • 500ml Water
  • 400ml sugar
  • 6 toasted marshmallows

 

 

DIRECTIONS:

STEP 1: 

  1. Add sugar, marshmallows and water to a pan
  2. Heat gently until marshmallows have dissolved
  3. Remove from heat and strain

STEP 2: 

  1. Fill glass with ice
  2. Pour River Rock over ice and give it a swirl
  3. Add marshmallow syrup & bitters and stir gently 
  4. Enjoy!
